Overview & Reviews
In an attempt to revive Monte Carlo's performance image, Chevrolet adds a supercharged SS version for 2004. The LS gets new 17-inch aluminum wheels, and there are a couple new appearance packages, Sport and Winner's Circle, available on the LS and non-supercharged SS.
- Spacious interior, low sticker price, strong acceleration with supercharged V6.
- Mediocre performance on non-supercharged models, bland interior with cheap materials, no passenger side-impact airbag.

Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By jeffm - October 24 - 6:53 amI purchased my Dale Earnhardt Edition SS Supercharged vehicle almost brand new (It had 4,733 miles on it when I purchased it). This car is awesome! It provides me with brisk acceleration from any speed, and the ride is very smooth! The interior is roomy, and I need all the room I can get (60 215). I can stretch out, and it is a comfortable car (not to mention fun) on long road trips. It is very reasonable on gas...I average about 27.5 MPG in a combination of city and highway driving. The car is absolutely beautiful when you finish washing and waxing it! I plan on keeping this car for many years to come!

My Honest Opinion - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Sanmae - October 16 - 10:00 amI actually have a 2002 purchased in August. This is my 2nd Monte, first was a 2000. I have to say I had never had a Chevy and once I drove the Monte Carlo, I was hooked for life! I was a Firebird formula 400 or Grand Prix person since 1969. Every 2-3 years but not, always a Monte.

Loving our Monte SS Supercharged 2004 - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By johnnysangel - August 22 - 2:00 amWe traded our 2002 SS in for the 2004, and could not be happier. Did not think they could make it any nicer, but with the supercharged engine and the comfort - knowing we have onstar and if we have any trouble our dealer will be there for us.

Cheyenne II - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By dastankos - May 29 - 2:27 pmI bought my 04 Dale Jr. Edition used with 53k on it. I am so impressed with this car. I didnt think I would have the power out of the SC 3.8l that I do. My first drive in her and all I could say was "WOW!" The looks I get in this car and all the little "Asian Rice" that tries to race me is great. This car holds its own so well and I have big plans for her. I am extremely impressed and I couldnt imagine a better car for the money. Amzing fuel economy, power and styling. Im very much in love with my car and recomend it to anyone looking for a a great ballance of cost, cost of ownership and power. Thank you Chevrolet for giving me one hell of a ride!

Comfort and Reliable - 2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
By Lynne - March 5 - 2:00 amSo far so good with the choice of this Monte Carlo! Love the look and style! I personally had alittle trouble Estimating my front end room for a few weeks parking...but that came the more I drove it. Handled very well in our First Snow of the year...and is very floaty when your driving on long trips. Plenty of front seat room also.
